For me, it was a bit of both! God really blessed me and my family and I'm so thankful for it! I was given the opportunity to work in Spain for 6 months, and then to China to study for 6 months! After that, my brother and sister had a wedding and we got to see all of our family and friends. We now have two new additions to the family; my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law, no babies just yet but my fingers are crossed!!! After that, we went to Taiwan for a holiday and then to Hong Kong and Macau for my brother's wedding banquet; meeting the new extended family and then I got to go to bible camp and see my church friends where we spent three weeks learning and growing together! And then it was off to Spain for six months where I met the best roomies and friends!
I made a surprise visit home mid December and got to see how much my family missed me, spent my birthday with the most wonderful company and got to meet all my friends and family!
It might not seem very eventful to some, but for me, 2015 flew by in a second, I can barely remember anything!
It's been difficult to think of a new years resolution as I don't usually make them, but a friend told me that it's the chance to improve things and after a few days of thinking, I'm gonna start trying to vlog a bit more and be organised (I can see this not going well). But! Optimism is the way forward!
It may seem daunting, trying to start something new and thinking that it's all gonna fail. But as Samra says, it's all part of the experience! Just try it, if it doesn't work this year, you've learned from it and can start over again, Just because new year only comes once a year, it doesn't mean a new beginning has to start once a year! It can start whenever you want!
Sooooo, Happy New Year guys!! Hope this year brings you more happiness and blessings than last year and that you are able to grow into beautiful beans :P
Tell me about your NYRs, it'd be awesome to see what promises other people make!
Much love,
TTM
